HORIBA Scientific announces a new generation of Symphony liquid nitrogen cooled InGaAs NIR linear array detectors offering increased sensitivity ideal for low light measurements. The HP series is available with standard and extended spectral range sensors.
The improved sensitivity of the Symphony IGA-HP is clearly demonstrated in the photoluminescence spectrum measurements of Single Wall Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNT) below. These measurements were performed under identical conditions with our existing Symphony IGA and our new Symphony IGA-HP. The spectrum acquired using the new improved IGA-HP (red) shows a threefold increase in signal versus the standard IGA (gray)!
